Alec Baldwin, age 27, is a talented artist in various mediums. His passions are painting, training & showing dogs, music (piano, guitar, voice, clarinet), running, writing & illustrating stories. He is a member of the Gimli Art Club and helps restore historical paintings on the dock sea wall. He started his artistic career drawing dogs and quickly mastered many mediums by attending International Peace Gardens Art Sessions along with private lessons & group classes with a professional Winnipeg artist. Alec loves participating and attending dog shows, meeting owners & handlers. Meeting their dogs and painting many of them fills his soul.

Alec completed a commissioned artwork for the National Dog Show in Philadelphia, USA in 2017 which received critical acclaim and much publicity. He currently lives in Gimli, Manitoba where he paints his commissions and trains for various races for the Interlake Special Olympics team.
